This is John Deere L111 Riding Mower’s second owner with a 2 blades 42 “cut. The mower is running like new. This was not commercially used! Exceptional maintenance has been maintained. After each use, air filter washed John Deere synthetic blend oil used with filter every 40 hours or once a month. Installed new belts are now 300 hrs at 290 hrs and mower. I purchased it for 180 hours. Has completely cut my 4 acres.
John Deere L111 is a tractor that seems to have gone by without getting much notice from lawnmower lovers. Part of the reason for this is that in’ 05 it only had a one-year manufacturing run. It was assembled at Wisconsin’s Horicon plant. It’s Briggs and Stratton, twin-engine petrol V is a2-cylinder, 0.7-liter, natural aspiration, air-cooled motor with 20 hp output.
This power is transmitted to its chassis via a Turf Torq 40, hydrostatic transmission giving it an infinite amount of gears going forward and then backward. It has an advancing top velocity of 5.5 mph. All of these statistics make the JD L111 not stick out at all and actually seem very similar to many of the other lawn mowers ride by John Deere that it produced around this time, another reason why it doesn’t have that much attention.
The fact that it is comparatively light for a 20 hp machine is one of the excellent plus points about the lawnmower garden tractor John Deere L111. It’s just about 209 kg (462 lbs). It measures 1.75 m (69 inches) in length, while it is 0.91 m (36 inches) in width (not taking into account the wheelbase or mower deck width). It has a gas tank capacity of 7.9 liters (2.1 US gallons) giving it between 2 –4 hours running time depending on how long (and wet) the grass it’s cutting as well as how much choke you have on.
