Cub Cadet LTX 1040 42 “with 230 hours. Every year, oil modifications, filter changes, blades replaced / sharpened and greased. Take me an hour to cut the yard that was used approximately 230 times.
Starts well, runs well and cuts well. No rust, no dents, no plastic holes. No tears in decent form. Has excellent tires, a belt substituted this summer.
Sometimes it smoked when you run it at first, but not every time. It brings out a tiny smoke puff, but I have no problems with its efficiency. But that’s figured in the mower’s cost. When I purchased it in 2010, I paid $1600. $425 for the lawn cart mower $20. Lawn cart is just that cost if you purchase the mower.
