2017 John Deere 1025R Mower was purchased new on January 29th, 2018. The factory warranty is valid until January 28th, 2024.
The mower is outfitted with:
– Yanmar diesel engine with 24 HP – 60″ drive over 7 Iron Deck
– 3 point hitch – Hydrostatic transmission with twin pedal control

The mower has recently been serviced and is ready to use.
The 1025R is powered by a Yanmar 3 cylinder 24.2hp (17.8kW) engine. Despite their small size, these engines have been designed to meet Tier-4 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) environmental standards by having low levels of both exhaust and emissions.
The John Deere 1025R engine is housed in its own compartment beneath the large lift-up bonnet and behind the radiator and cooling system. The isolated engine bay area greatly reduces the amount of noise resonating from under the bonnet as soon as the engine is fired up.
The 1025R’s 12-volt electrical system and heat plugs for cold weather starting provide excellent starting reliability in all conditions. Other controls include a four-wheel drive selector, mid mount and rear power take-off (PTO) options, which can be used as rear or mid mount separately or both at the same time.
The performance of the 1025R as a mower, digger, or front end loader certainly lives up to John Deere’s well-earned reputation, so if you’re willing to overlook a couple of areas I believe could be improved, I can assure you this mower, loader, and backhoe will not disappoint.
