I am selling our 2011 John Deere F525 riding mower, which is in excellent running condition. The reason for selling is that I had a fantastic opportunity to upgrade to a larger mower.
This mower is equipped with a 48-inch deck that can be adjusted to cut grass at heights ranging from 1.5 to 4 inches. It also features a bagger with a capacity of 2.5 bushels for collecting clippings.
Powering the mower is a 17.5-horsepower Kohler Command V-twin engine, providing ample power to handle even thick or tall grass. The hydrostatic transmission ensures smooth and effortless operation.
I recently installed a brand new padded and adjustable seat, making for comfortable mowing sessions. The controls are conveniently positioned and easy to access.
Several components have been recently replaced, including the battery, bagging and main belt. Additionally, I have replaced a couple of pulleys within the past two years. I do add a small amount of oil each month as it tends to burn a little.
I have regularly greased the mower a few times per year, and it has been used to mow a half-acre lawn once a week throughout the summer.
