The John Deere 7700 PrecisionCut lawn mower has a total cutting width of 100 inches. This cutting width is made up of 5 individual mowing units, each with a 22-inch cutting width. There are three mowing units in the front, with two more just behind them. There are several reels (cutting cylinders) that are compatible with the JD 7700 mower units. The first option has five blades on the reel, the second has eight blades, and the third has ten blades. The diameter of the reels is the same at 7 inches.
