My 2003 John Deere x585 4-wheel drive tractor is for sale (selectable 2 or 4 wheel drive). 25 hp liquid cooled 2-cylinder Kawasaki gas-injected fuel engine. This tractor looks and works excellent, no problems at all. Switch the key around and go. This is a huge tractor, hard to tell from the pictures, but it’s a lot bigger than the usual John Deere lawn and garden tractors. In the first photo is a 12 oz bottle of V8 juice to give you an idea of the size of this tractor. This tractor is all shaft drive to the mower deck (supplied) and the snowblower if you want to buy one.
This model of tractor will also take the front hydraulic loader bucket (not supplied by me) It will also run the rear shaft of the roto tiller (not supplied by me). Needless to mention that it has power and hydrostatic transmission steering (push the foot pedal and go). The original John Deere X738, which costs close to $14,000 plus the fast hitch and the blade, is a replacement for this updated tractor. The new replacement cost will be close to $15,000 for the kit I’m offering. The mower deck, ready to go in the spring, is in excellent shape. I have brand new Gator Blades mounted. My sale price is 6,750 dollars. The tractor’s hour meter just turned out to be 900 hours. This is a computer that takes at least 5,000 hours. All is working as it should. Compared to John Deere’s new replacement, this tractor is better in one way (X738). My tractor is 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive with a lever that can be picked. Full-time 4 wheel drive for the new x738.
